The Hotel Kristall-Saphir in Saas-Almagell offers guests sustainable comfort. The Saas-Fee/Saas Valley vacation region attaches great importance to sustainability. With the reconstruction and total renovation of the facade in 2021, we were able to make our hotel fit for the green future and are a leader in sustainability.
Whether in energy generation, the choice of suppliers and products, the management of our garden, the preparation of meals in the kitchen or in the care of our guests and in our dealings with employees – sustainability is not just theory for us.
For us, ecology means using resources in the most environmentally friendly way possible in our daily work. Only if we consider all areas, we can offer future generations a place of recreation and inspiration in the midst of the most beautiful nature.

Sustainability at Restaurant 1659
In the selection of our dishes, we focus very strongly on regional products, as well as sustainability. For example, we obtain our veal meat from the Chum-Ssä-Ssä stables in Saas-Almagell or produce our own local butter. Seasonal vegetables, vegetarian and vegan dishes are also on offer.
