Hiking means more to me than climbing a prominent mountain or circling a lake. Hiking means for me to experience the beauty of the Swiss landscape, nature and culture, to be amazed again and again and to understand more and more.
I enjoy working with people and imparting new knowledge to them. In the process, I usually learn something new myself, whether from the participants or from nature itself. Always fascinating and lasting for me.

Saas-Almagell – Zer Meiggeru – Furggalp – Furggstalden
The Furggu Trail leads through the snow-covered landscape of Saas-Almagell, past Zer Meiggeru and Furggu to Furggstalu (Furggstalden).
Route: 5km, Duration: 2:30h, Ascent 400hm, Descent 150hm, Highest point: 2’073hm
Saas-Almagell – Zermeiggern – Eyenalp – Mattmark dam – Return
Path from the villages into the alpine mountain landscape below the Mattmark dam. Hike from Almagell towards Eyenalp and on to the Mattmark reservoir. Here we enjoy the complete silence in our wild and romantic mountain world.
Route: 14km, Duration: 4:30h, Ascent 534hm, Descent 534hm, Highest point: 2’205hm
Saas-Almagell – Saas-Grund – railroad toTrift – Heimischgarten – Saas-Grund
The Heimischgarte trail leads you from Trift through the Löübinobodme forest towards the Heimischgarten. At the hamlet of Brend follows the descent to Saas-Grund.
Route: 9km, Duration: 4:00h, Descent 600hm, Highest point: 2’100hm
Return with the post bus
